AshéAshé Umbrella Project
Mission & Vision

We turn an afternoon at the lake into an act of protection.

The same umbrella you'd rent anywhere becomes, here, a signature on a movement and a dollar toward a child's justice. This is conscious capitalism in the open — a business whose everyday transactions are the mission.

☂ Party with a purpose.
Our Mission — what we do every day

We make it effortless — and joyful — to spend money in a way that protects children.

LakeGrid is a lakefront marketplace where booking a spot, renting shade, and ordering from local kitchens funds the Ashé Justice Center — and puts an AI guardian, Athena, to work so that no child's cry, no statute, and no critical finding is ever missed again.

Our Vision — the world we're building

A society where commerce and conscience are the same transaction.

Where ten thousand small, happy purchases become a permanent shield over the innocent — and where doing good is not the premium option, but the default one.

Your good day at the lake→someone's fair hearing

Every square booked, every umbrella rented, every meal ordered puts money and momentum behind protecting children caught in a broken family-court system. The joy is the delivery vehicle. The protection is the point.

What we stand on

Five non-negotiables

🧒

The child is the center

Every feature answers one question: does this protect a child? If it doesn't, it doesn't ship.

🔎

Proof over promise

Every claim is cited, every dollar is traceable, every score is labeled an assessment — never a verdict.

🏡

Local first

We grow by lifting the businesses and community around the lake — not by extracting from them.

🤝

Dignity in the deal

Guests feel good, vendors feel seen, and no one is manipulated. The incentive is real, or it isn't offered.

☂

Joy is the vehicle

We fund heavy work with light, beautiful, human experiences. A lake day that means something.

Our operating constitution

Conscious capitalism, by the book

Not a donation bolted onto a business. A business whose transactions are the mission — built on the four tenets.

01

Higher purpose

Protect the innocence of society — fund the Justice Center from everyday commerce.

02

Stakeholder integration

Guests, local vendors, the community, and children-in-crisis all win from the same transaction. No one is squeezed to pay for another.

03

Conscious leadership

Founder-led and transparent about where the money goes. The story is the strategy.

04

Conscious culture

Belonging, visible impact, and shared authorship. You don't join a loyalty program — you join a movement.

Why this exists

It started with one father's countdown

One father. Day 621 without his child, after a courtroom that took minutes to decide a life. Instead of going quiet, he built the engine he wished the court had — a guardian that reads every filing, catches every missed finding, and never forgets a child's own words.

Then he wrapped it in something you can rent at the lake. An umbrella. So that everyone's good day funds someone's fair hearing — and a movement grows one small, joyful purchase at a time.

Every umbrella is a vote. Every meal is a shield. Every visit is a signature.

What your rental actually does

☂ Rent an umbrella
A share funds the Justice Center clinic — and adds one signature toward 892,800: one for every minute a father has lost with his child.
🍽️ Order from a vendor
You lift a local kitchen and feed the fund at the same time. Good food, doing good.
🎟️ Join the Social Club
Your membership underwrites the Guardian engine reviewing real case files — the work that finds the gaps.

We say "a share funds…" — never a fixed per-dollar promise — and publish where the money goes. Public figures on our Numbers page are cited from California's own Judicial Council report. Case-specific work is private and never named here.

Come for the lake. Stay for the reason.
